Abstract: THE ROLE OF LOGISTICS IN E-COMMERCE BUSINESS MODELS
This study aims to explore the role of logistics in e-commerce business models, focusing on its impact on delivery speed, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. A survey design is selected for its ability to gather data from a diverse population. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 300 respondents is determined to ensure statistical significance. The case study is conducted in Lagos, focusing on a leading e-commerce company. The reliability coefficient score of 0.85 indicates high reliability. Findings suggest that effective logistics significantly enhance e-commerce business models by improving delivery speed, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Recommendations include investing in advanced logistics solutions and continuously optimizing logistics operations to meet customer expectations.
